Cowley Drive Renovation - Cambridge, 2023–2025

This renovation of a Cambridge ‘modern farmhouse; was guided by a clear vision: a warm, light-filled home that opens to the north and blurs the boundary between inside and out.

The brief called for texture, colour and mid-century inspiration - and the result delivers all three. Zellige-tiled fireplaces connect interior and exterior living spaces, timber slat walls add warmth and acoustic depth, and a curated mix of vintage and contemporary furniture gives each room its own character while feeling cohesive across the whole home.

Colour is used with confidence throughout - deep burgundy in the drawing room, blush in the dining room, deep teal built-in joinery in the bedroom - anchored always by the materiality of timber, tile and terracotta that runs through the home.

The project was completed in two stages, with the main living spaces finished in 2023 and the master bedroom and ensuite completed in 2025.
